My name is Yukiko Miura, founder of Hitachino Seiran respiratory clinic in Hitachino-Ushiku.

The first time I came to Ibaraki Prefecture was in 2008 – I had the privilege of getting to know the friendly people and beautiful nature of Ibaraki Prefecture while working at the National Hospital Organization Ibaraki Higashi Hospital (formerly known as Seiran-so) for two and a half years. I am thrilled to be able to contribute to community-based health care – bringing the wealth of experience as a respiratory physician of over 20 years – in Ibaraki Prefecture where I have learned and received so much in my life.  

Hippocrates, known as the father of medicine, believed that the body could heal itself, and Dr. Schweitzer, who contributed to healthcare in Africa, says “there is a doctor within every patient’s body.” Both of them refer to the natural healing power of the body.

At our clinic, we are here to support your natural ability to heal and recover, so that you can enjoy your life to its fullness. Therefore, we will provide you with nutritional guidance as it is a fundamental aspect of your health and wellbeing.  

Our clinic is designed in a way that patients can feel relaxed throughout the treatment period with the interior design and artwork created in collaboration with the Nagoya City University Graduate School of Art and Design.
